A very important part of the beautiful game… running and lots of it… there’s no doubt that eating and eating well leading up to match day is important so that you have fuel in the tank.. but if you are to have intensity for the duration of a 90minute game u need endurance. u need stamina. U need energy…
Here we are at work.. and working hard as always…

Having some fun with some of the boys at the #IMFC game.. unfortunately the result wasn’t what we wanted !! Tough when u have to play a man down practically the whole game. It was a gorgeous day though. Looking forward to more games and having the whole team representing!

Pasta Dinner Fundraiser a success!!!

This past weekend we held a resoundingly successful fund raising event; a pasta dinner. We may have labeled it a ‘pasta dinner’ but there were all sorts of goodies; drinks, desserts, coffee and a candy bar to boot!! It was truly an amazing event all coordinated by our very own manager Mena…. she corralled the troops and put on a great event..
We had some 260 people, door prizes and a raffle that included some amazing prizes.
This event was months in the making and it truly did take some fantastic teamwork to ensure that it went smooth.. and that it did.. everyone had a hand in it.. the event benefited 3 lakeshore teams; #MU15AAA #FU15AAA and the #FU12AA. The players were all there helping with the different stations that were set up; from the food to the bar to the coat rack to the raffle tickets. Everyone helped.. everyone had a great time.

This is how you get things done. There is a difference between talk and action. This year there was action!!! #gettingthingsdone
