Our second friendly v. Adrenaline…

A tougher opponent and unfortunately the result was not what we wanted. Early morning games are always difficult but I must say that the score aside we played a very solid game. For the second straight game we had control for the majority of the game. The second half reminded me of the playoff game v. Outremonts where we had them on their heels… Controlled every aspect, the intensity level was high/amazing but we could not do one thing; put the ball in the net. we had a good 8 quality chances to put the ball in the net and couldn’t put one in. Adrenaline had 4 chances and they put in 2. Ahhh… The frustration! Guess what we will be practicing this week? Yes, “finishing”! Lol.

Next up, Chomedey, yet another quality opponent!

Our first friendly of 2012 a success!

We had our first friendly of the 2012 winter season yesterday v. Ste Julie. It was a successful game in all areas. An 7-1 victory but it could have easily been 15-1. The group dominated basically from beginning to end. This was an excellent start as our next opponent will offer a stronger challenge.

Looking forward to next saturday as we face the Adrenaline from Rosemere.

After a 3 week lay off, back to practicing…

Wow those 3 weeks off the pitch seemed like an eternity but we got back on track yesterday. Considering the lay off, the practice went pretty well but you could tell with some of the players that the 3 weeks off had somewhat of an impact on their cardio! 🙂 … And for yours truly, his ankle! Lol!
